Health + Safety

COVID-19 Safety Procedures

Your well-being & safety is a priority to me.

Masks are optional but encouraged during treatments. If you would like one and do not have one, a disposable surgical mask will be provided for you.

I will maintain wearing a mask in all client interactions.

Studies show that masking significantly lowers the risk of infection when combined with other prevention measures like social distancing & hand hygiene. this policy prioritizes caring for our entire community, clients, & myself. Thanks for your understanding & cooperation.

What I’m doing to keep a safer treatment space:

    •    I am vaccinated against COVID-19.

    •    HEPA air filters are being used in the treatment space.

    •    Surface disinfection with medical-grade cleaning products between clients.

    •    I wear a mask, & keep diligent hand hygiene.

    •    I will stay home & get tested if I exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19, including cough, fever, & shortness of breath, or if I have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

    •    I offer virtual sessions as an option for those who prefer to receive care remotely from their homes.

What I ask of you:

Safety requires effort on all our parts.

Before your appointment:

    •    If you’ve recently been diagnosed with COVID-19, please wait 10 days past your first positive test result before coming in regardless of symptoms. I am happy to switch your appointment to a remote virtual session.

    •    Alert me if you have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 5 days. If you have concerns about whether or not you should keep your appointment, please contact me promptly at 763-218-2259.

    •    Please bring a face mask to your appointment. To be effective, masks should fit the face snugly but comfortably, be secured with ear loops or ties, & cover both the nose & mouth at all times.  Handkerchiefs, bandanas, or holding fabric over the mouth/nose are not acceptable substitutes. If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided for you.

When you arrive for your appointment:

    •    Alert me if you have recently developed 2 or more of the following symptoms: fever, cough, difficulty breathing, fatigue, headache, loss of taste or smell, nausea, & bowel habit changes. If you have any of these symptoms, you may need to reschedule your appointment or switch it to Remote Virtual, unless you have had at least 1 negative COVID-19 test within the last 48 hours.

Thank you for your understanding & cooperation!
